We welcome ophthalmology-related submissions from current undergraduate health and medical science students, as well as Intern Year / FY1 & FY2 doctors.
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed, and authors will be notified of the outcome. Successful abstracts will be published in the Irish Medical Journal (IMJ).
If accepted, you will be invited to present a research poster at the conference, taking place at University College Dublin on April 11th, 2026. Following the poster presentations, the top 8 finalists will be invited to deliver oral presentations later the same day. Six prizes will be awarded:
